How will I know my cleaning is scheduled?

Book any time between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm and we will contact you within 30 minutes (during our business hours) to confirm your booking.

Is it easy to book online?

Booking online takes less than 60 seconds. Fill out a booking form at http://www.maidinrichmond.com/booking/ and we will contact you to confirm the date and time of your cleaning in less than 30 minutes. You can choose to either pay cash or check or you can pay instantly online with a credit card or PayPal. If you don’t have PayPal, it’s no problem, you can click “Don’t Have PayPal” and enter your credit card information that way. Both Stripe and PayPal are leading credit card processing companies, so you can be sure it is completely safe and secure to pay with either method.

Do you do green cleaning?

Some of our teams do 100% green cleaning. Simply request green cleaning when you book your service and we will send a green cleaning team at no additional charge to you.

Who provides the cleaning supplies?

We bring any supplies we will use for the cleaning. If you would prefer us to use specific supplies (such as those used on wood floors), please let us know and we will use the supplies that you leave out for us.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently only accept credit and debit cards for payment. To book online at http://www.maidinrichmond.com/booking/ . Online payments are handled by Stripe, and are processed via a fully secure 256 bit protocol. We also have a fully extended validation SSL security. Booking your cleanings with Maid in Richmond is guaranteed to be both secure and safe. Any unauthorized charges made to your card resulting from doing business with us will be refunded in full.

What will it cost to clean my home?

Our prices are based on a flat rate depending on the number of bedrooms. For most standard size home cleanings, please see the price rates here (LINK).

Do I have to contact you for each cleaning?

Once you have set up a recurring service, we will arrive promptly on the date and time you choose. We will also send you an email reminder the day before the cleaning so you will know what to expect. 😉

How do your move in/move out cleanings work?

Our move-in/move-out cleanings are done in order to prepare a home for a new tenant. They are deeper cleanings which includes the insides of drawers and cabinets, inside the fridge, fixtures, baseboards, etc. This cleaning costs an additional $60, an additional cost which is the industry standard for move-in/move-out cleaning services.

How long will my cleaning cleaning take?

Your cleaning will usually take 1 hour per bedroom, but we avoid giving specific time frames for cleanings. Cleaning continues until finished for standard homes (within reason). For special cases (very large homes, hoarders, etc.) the time estimate will be adjusted.

Does anyone need to be home during the cleaning?

No, you can simply leave us a key and we will take care of the rest. Simply leave the key under a mat, at your front-desk, in the mailbox, or wherever is most convenient for you and let us know.
